Time zone mixups have been detected. IDK if it's all vods or just a few, but I seem to have entered a UTC-8 date thinking I was entering a Zulu date.

This means we have some hot URIs that were never meant to be hot. (Cool URIs dont change)

Example. Compare https://futureporn.neocities.org/vods/20200207T232100Z/ with https://futureporn.net/vods/20200207T232100Z/

I think some things are needed to keep this from happening again

  • Alerts when known good links 404
  • futureporn-qa checks which alert when a date doesnt match the date fetched from announceUrl
  • futureporn-historian retrieves dates from tweets, compares them against vod entries
