The other day I opened nhentai on my phone and had an enlightning experience. Buttons responded to my input immediately, images loaded fast. I enjoyed the content while barely noticing the UI.

Futureporn is missing this feeling of clean, frustration-free UI. This needs to change for Futureporn to become a valuable part of more people's lives.

Here is a list of things Futureporn needs, and the approximate order in which they must be created.

  • Tags
  • Timestamps
  • Deployment changes
  • 99.999% Automated VOD processing
    • link2cid
    • mux creation script
  • 99.999% Automated VOD integrity checks
  • Stream Archive
  • 99.999% Automated Stream Archive data acquisition
  • Discord slash commands for Moderators
    • /fix <UID>
    • /record <URL>
  • Toys directory (w/ affiliate links?)
  • Vibrator integration (funscripts)
  • Content moderation workflow
  • Content flagging system (streaming problem, inappropriate content)
  • Community Uploads
  • Kubernetes?
  • Expand video processing capabilities (GPU instance(?))
  • VOD clipping/sharing
  • Alternate encodes for all common device types
  • Closed captions
  • Delete Mux in favor of cached S3
  • Automated 404 detection/alerting of socials listed on /vt/[slug]
