Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Users report the stalled notification is too in-your-face. It is likely frustrating to see that big bold message when all they want is to watch the vod.
Pondering more on this, I realized a better solution. Delete the stalled notification.
The user already knows the video is stalled; we don't need to remind them.
The reason for the notification in the first place is because I need to communicate to visitors that there is a better viewing experience available to paid members. However, the time and place to tell users this is not when their video is failing to load.
My solution is to delete any and all stalled notifications. This eliminates the corporate sounding advertisement message.
To communicate patron CDN streaming, we will add a select box which visitors can use to select between IPFS and CDN video sources. CDN will be disabled for everyone but patrons, communicating the better streaming experience.
